The journey that has shaped the formidable POLYCO Group as we see it today began with the “dream” of an educator, a scientist, later becoming the captain, the flame, the driving force behind POLYCO – Chairman Professor Dr. Dinh Van Thuan.
Recalling the story from nearly 30 years ago (5/1995), at that time, the scientist Dinh Van Thuan made a bold decision. Despite being an educator, he carried the spirit of entrepreneurship with a desire to apply scientific knowledge to practical use, aiming to “revitalize” the domestic refrigeration and mechanical engineering industry, contributing to the country’s socio-economic development. All of this urged him to shoulder a new mission: becoming an entrepreneur in the era of renovation.
He led POLYCO on its own path, which was quite “unfamiliar” in Vietnam at that time. It involved researching, applying, and commercializing research while simultaneously training high-quality personnel, ensuring a skilled workforce. Proudly, throughout nearly 30 years of building, maturing, and developing, POLYCO has become one of the pioneering units in the country with extensive experience in various fields: Design, Manufacturing, Supply of Materials, Equipment, Installation, and Technology Transfer through the “turnkey” method.
POLYCO, with its capabilities as a general contractor, has established itself in 5 main industries: technology, mechanical engineering, refrigeration, water treatment, and automation. Spanning across the S-shaped land, POLYCO has a wide-reaching presence with thousands of projects meeting international standards.
