Recalling the story from nearly 30 years ago (5/1995), at that time, scientist Dinh Van Thuan made a bold decision. As an educator but with the entrepreneurial spirit, he aimed to apply scientific knowledge to practice to "revitalize" the refrigeration engineering industry of the country, contributing to the socio-economic development of the nation,... all of this urged him to "shoulder" a new mission: Entrepreneur in the renewal period.

He has led POLYCO on a unique path, which at that time was quite 'unfamiliar' in Vietnam. It involved both research and application, as well as commercializing research while simultaneously training personnel, readying a high-quality labor force. Proudly, over nearly 30 years of building – maturing – developing, POLYCO is now one of the pioneering units in the country with extensive experience in the fields of: Design, Manufacturing, Supply of materials, Equipment, Installation, and Technology transfer through the 'turnkey' method.
